AOMEI Backupper Professional

AOMEI Backupper Professional is a Windows program that backs up your system, disks, partitions and files, syncs folders and clones one disk to another. This is a license for the Professional edition, which AOMEI sells for personal use on one PC per license. It suits anyone who wants scheduled backups and a way to move Windows to a new SSD without reinstalling.

Which plan should I choose?

Choose Professional if you back up your own Windows PC at home. If the PC belongs to a business, choose Workstation. For a Windows Server choose Server, and for many machines or paid service for clients choose Technician.

What the extra tools mean

• PXE boot tool: starts client computers over your local network, handy for system maintenance.
• Image deploy tool: sends one system image to many computers over the network.
• Portable version: runs AOMEI Backupper from a removable drive on a target computer without installing it.

Lifetime Upgrades or 1 Year?

• Lifetime Upgrades: a one time payment. AOMEI's upgrade policy says customers who bought Lifetime Upgrades get every major upgrade and every latest version for free.
• 1 Year: the code is valid for the plan term and does not renew automatically. Pick it if you only need backups on this PC for a year.

Professional or the free Standard edition?

On AOMEI's edition comparison page, Professional adds these over the free Standard edition:

• Differential backup, backup schemes, encrypted backups and file filters.
• Outlook and email backup.
• Mirror, two-way and real-time sync.
• Restore to a different computer, full disk clone and system clone.
• Command line and pre/post commands.
• Email notifications through AOMEI or your own SMTP server, and 24/7/365 support.

If you only need a basic image backup now and then, the free Standard edition may be enough.

Which versions of Windows does it run on?

Windows 11, 10, 8.1/8 and 7. It is Windows software only, so there is no Mac version in this product.

How many PCs can I use it on?

Each license covers 1 PC for personal use. For business use, AOMEI sells its Workstation and Technician editions.

Can I restore a backup to a different computer?

Yes. AOMEI lists restore to dissimilar hardware, including physical to virtual migration, as a Professional feature.
